Crowning Glory of success in contests - awaiting the hand of the winning Toast Masters in shining armor - is the high note of TMI - District 79’s calendar in any year. Not a day goes without us dreaming of winning these laurels.

Division K gives out their inside secrets of winning contests. Toastmasters Leadership Institute under Division K conducted a workshop - “TLI Trilogy” On Nov, 2009.

Objectives were to help Toastmasters, especially new entrants to the movement, in Preparing Sure Hit Speeches, passing on the Magic of Table Topics and inculcating the secrets of the Art of Effective Evaluation.

Each leg of this trilogy was fathered by TMs who were eminently qualified by their achievements. TM TD Balraj and DTM Alex were the go-to men who made this workshop a reality.

DTM Mohamed Abdulla Isa readied the TMs by coaching them ably in Preparing Sure Hit Speeches. He is  the pubic speaking champion of Division K, won  places  in the 2009 humorous speech contest in District 79.

TM Sivakumar Lakshman, ACB, CL shared the secrets of success in Table topics. He is BTAC 2008 runner-up and a Table Topic wizard.

DTM Tony Cortes armed the toastmasters in their Evaluation battle.

The inimitable Toast Masters of Division K responded with enthusiasm. The attendance Exceeded expectations.

The good humored overwhelming did not stop with mere attendance. The TMs reaped rich dividends --the knowledge and training imparted by the eminent frontrunners of Toast Masters movement.

Not to forget the fun and frolic that accompanied.
