Once again, it is time for nominations to the District Office. District is soliciting nominations for the following positions -
1. District Governor - one position
2. Lt. Governor Education & Training (2 positions) - one exclusive for members in Saudi Divisions
3. Lt. Governor Marketing (2 positions) - one position is exclusively for members of Saudi Divisions
4. Division Governor for all the Divisions in the District
Since Saudi Arabia will become a separate district effective July 2011, during the next council meeting we will also elect one LGET and one LGM exclusively to represent Saudi Arabia. This year the District will have one District Governor and two LGET's and two LGM's. Any Toastmaster in the District, including members in Saudi Arabia, meeting the required election criteria can nominate themselves or get nominated for the position of District Governor, LGET and LGM. However, the two exclusive positions of LGET and LGM, to represent Saudi is reserved for members representing clubs in Saudi Arabia. Candidates for Division Governors have to be members of clubs in the respective Divisions.

The last date for receiving the completed application form is 18th March, 2010. There will be no extention in the deadline so please make sure that the nominations are submitted to the undersigned and only to the undersigned prior to the deadline. Nominations submitted to anyone other than the Nomination Committee chairman i.e. Radhakrishnan Karantharath (RK), immediate past district governor will be void and null. Please note this point very carefully, last year there was some confusion due to not following this requirement. Please do not submit the nomination forms to the District Governor, nominations are to be directly submitted to the undersigned.
