Dear Visitors and Members of District-79,

Being the Number ONE District in the world can be a result of being formed ahead of others, a result of an arbitrary numbering or a result of performance.

While the first is merely historical and the second is sheer luck, the last is the only one which is a true representation of the intrinsic qualities and the will power that is stored in the hearts and minds. In that type of distinction, you miss me the title once or twice but you always return and claim it back.

In District-79, we are of the third type where our performance and results continue to amaze the world in our ability to be truly Distinguished and Creative in all our undertakings.

We missed our title last year but the commitment and dedication of our members and Servant Leaders are making it possible for us to regain our position as Number ONE District in the world.

Hence, as the District's SERVANT Governor, I'm truly honored to welcome you to the website of the World District Number ONE.

The District 79 Saudi Arabia Toastmasters is the newest addition to the community of district toastmasters officially listed this term 2011-2012 following the split of District 20. District 79 is instrumental of the growth of Toastmasters in the Middle East. It comprises 9 Divisions and 33 Areas in whole Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Historically, Toastmasters in this nation were major contributors to making the region on top of the world stage in growth, numbers and dynamism.

From it's humble beginnings and unwavering support and commitment of member Toastmasters, the District 79 is Dedicated to Excellence.
